We're on the home stretch here at Outpost Gaming in Kenosha, Wisconsin as we finish preparations for our Operation Overlord 2014 Event. An inrush of sign ups this past week has got us both very excited, and VERY busy! At this point we've more than 30 people signed up to take part in this event.

We're less than two weeks away from storming the beaches at the Outpost Gaming Operation Overlord 2014 Event with the Battle Badgers.

Ranger Demo Day at Flying Phoenix Games in Oshkosh

The Battle Badgers will be up in Oshkosh on Saturday, June 21st at Flying Phoenix Games. We'll be getting into town around 11 AM and looking for a game or two. We'll be bringing along our terrain foot locker to set up a pretty table or two, and our demo board to teach anyone who wants to learn. So, if you're in the area, and would care to play a game talk to Kevin at Flying Phoenix.

Ranger Learn to Play Day at Unique Gifts and Games in Grayslake

The Battle Badgers will be packing up the terrain foot locker and heading down to Grayslake Illinois on Saturday, June 14th for a day of Flames of War with our friends at Unique Gifts & Games. If you're in the area and would like to learn to play, or already know how to play and just fancy a game come on out and say 'hi'!

Rick's new 29th Infantry Division

My collection is just about entirely German. I dabble in the club's shared Soviet Army (a fittingly socialist approach to owning a gigantic pile of everything Soviet), but the German models and armies have always held the majority of my interest. However, the upcoming Operation Overlord Event seemed a good spot to step out of my comfort zone and contribute something Allied to the cause. I chose an Assault Company from Overlord, picked up the 29th Infantry Company box, some LCVP's, a few extra blisters and got to work!

Storming the Beaches at Adepticon!

The Battle Badgers played a bit of hooky this weekend. Rather than spending Friday coding in our respective offices, we all took a vacation day, packed up the truck with all sorts of goodies, and headed on down to Adepticon to do some Rangering!

Easy Green Update

Its time for another trip down to the french sea side to take a peak at the progress the guys at Outpost Gaming have made on Easy Green Beach. If you're looking to play on this gorgeous bit of board, be sure to make it out to Operation Overlord 2014 at Outpost Gaming in Kenosha this June.
